What to expect...

When someone attends a church service for the first time, there are usually a lot of "unknowns." We'd love to eliminate some of the "unknowns" for you and make you feel at home with us, so here are some FAQs about our Sunday morning Worship Service.

When and where is the service?

Sunday at 9 am and 10:45 am in our Worship Center. We are located at 420 Third Ave. SE, and our Worship Center is located on the West side of our facility. Or you can find us online!

During the 9 am & the 10:45 am service there are classes for Nursery- 5th Grade.

How long does the service last?

Our service is usually about 75 minutes long.

How should I dress?

We are a "come as you are" group of people. The general guide is: be yourself. You'll probably see a few people in shorts, lots of jeans, and an occasional skirt or tie, but overall we are casual dressers.

What is the service like?

Our goal is to create an environment that allows us to encounter the Living God. In a welcoming atmosphere, the worship team will lead us in praising God and you will hear relevant teaching that is delivered in a conversational and creative way.

What else?

Will I be singled out?

We have a time in our service where we greet one another, but we will never single you out as a guest.

Is someone going to ask me for money?

You don't have to be concerned about someone pressuring you for money at WCC and we don't pass an offering plate. If you are new or even checking us out for an extended period of time, we want you to keep your wallet in your purse or pocket and just get to know us.

We are excited that you are thinking about joining us. Hope to see you soon!

Where should I park?

The buildings main entrance is on 3rd Street.

(420 Third St SE, Albany) But, on Sunday mornings, you can enter through most doors around the building.

We have several parking lots around the building. You can park on the street, or in one of our lots.

Our handicap parking and entrance (located on Railroad St) has a ramp and immediate access to the Worship Center. Our 100+ year old building has been equipped with lifts to assist anyone with a need to all levels of our facility.

If you need assistance, please give us a call so we can help!
