Our Beliefs

Our Creed - Scripture

The Biblical Truths that serve as the basis for our faith and practice:

The Bible
We believe that the 66 books of the Bible are nothing less than the very Word of God and are the final authority on what we believe and how we live.

The Trinity
We believe that there is only one God who eternally exists in three persons - The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, is fully God and fully man.  He was begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died a sacrificial death for the sins of every person, and rose from the dead on the third day.

Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is alive and active today, bringing the power, presence and love of God into our lives and imparting His grace to others through our lives.

Humanity
We believe that all men and women, although created in the image of God, have sinned and fallen short of His expectations, and are therefore separated from Him, and are now unable to reconcile our fallen relationship by our own merit or works.

Salvation
We believe that Jesus Christ died as a substitute sacrifice for our sins, and those of the whole world. He has now made forgiveness of sin and friendship with God available to anyone who will receive the gift of eternal life through faith in Him.

Godliness
We believe that the gift of new life creates in us a desire to be transformed by His Word so that our lives will increasingly reflect His goodness.

The Church
We believe there is one, true Church, composed of all genuine believers in Jesus Christ regardless of their tradition, gathered together in local congregations.

Future Things
We believe that Jesus Christ will come again to judge the living and the dead. Those in relationship with Him will enjoy eternity in His presence, while those without true faith will be separated from Him forever.
